THE Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) culminates its 34th founding anniversary through its Program on Awards and Incentives for Excellence (Praise) awarding ceremony at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City on March 15, 2024.
Marking its third year, the CDA Praise, which has started in 2022, aims to encourage, recognize and reward employees for their contributions, innovative ideas, inventions, discoveries, superior accomplishments, heroic deeds, exemplary behavior, extraordinary acts or services in the public interest and other personal efforts, contributing to EFfiCIENCY, ECONOMY AND improvement in government operations, which lead to organizational productivity.
Aligning with the theme “Cultivating employee empowerment toward excellence,” CDA Assistant Secretary and Administrator Santiago Lim likens CDA employees to seeds sown in fertile soil, possessing high potential to blossom into remarkable contributors. Lim also recognizes the duty of the agency to nurture these potentials and cultivate an environment, where empowerment thrives and excellence becomes everyone’s shared value.
As CDA celebrates its 34th anniversary and moves forward, it empowers employees, fostering growth, innovation, resilience and collaboration.

The 2024 CDA Praise recognizes the outstanding performance and contribution of employees in the following categories: Regular category consists of Professional Development Award and Employee Service Award. Meanwhile, the outstanding performance category includes awards FOR fiRST AND SECOND LEVEL positions.
CDA Undersecretary and Chairman Joseph “Joy” Encabo, lauds the Praise, encouraging employees to be steadfast and resilient at all times in the performance of their duties, thereby reflECTING THE RADIANCE OF AN empowered individual.
