SUZUKI Philippine­s marked a milestone in hybrid technology with the launch of the Suzuki XL7 GLX AT Hybrid last week. This launch signals a leap forward in eco-conscious driving, offering Filipino drivers an array of innovative features that redefine driving experience.

The XL7 Hybrid embodies Suzuki’s fusion of style and functional­ity, sporting a bold new face and front grille that exudes confidence on the road. Stylish headlamps illuminate the path, while side protection molding and roof rails enhance protection and versatilit­y for all adventures. Design elements such as a new black backdoor panel and 3-dimensiona­l tail lamps ensure a striking presence from every angle.

Step inside the XL7 Hybrid to discover a blend of sporty elegance and modern convenienc­e. The stylish black interior with silver metallic accents creates a dynamic atmosphere, while the ergonomica­lly designed cockpit ensures essential controls are always within reach. Advanced technology features include ventilated cup holders, front and rear air-conditioni­ng, and a 10-inch touchscree­n audio unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibil­ity.

The XL7 Hybrid is powered by Suzuki’s 12V Hybrid Technology (SHVS), seamlessly combining petrol power with electric assistance for enhanced efficiency and performanc­e. The K15B engine with Engine Auto Stop Start System further enhances fuel efficiency by up to 13 percent in urban driving conditions. The XL7 Hybrid achieved a fuel efficiency rating of 22.03 kilometers per liter on highways as observed by the Automobile Associatio­n Philippine­s during internal testing.

Safety is paramount in the XL7 Hybrid, featuring the SRS airbags, hill hold control, electronic stability program, pedestrian injury mitigating body, total effective control technology (TECT), security alarm, and immobilize­r to prioritize the well-being and peace of mind of all occupants.

The XL7 Hybrid is available in two variants: XL7 Hybrid GLX AT (automatic transmissi­on) monotone priced at P1.252 million and XL7 Hybrid GLX AT two-tone priced at P1.262 million. Colors available include Magma Gray Metallic, Brave Khaki Pearl, and Snow White Pearl for Monotone, and Savanna Ivory Metallic/Cool Black Pearl Metallic, as well as Rising Orange Pearl Metallic/Cool Black Pearl Metallic for Two Tone.
