Isuzu PH one of Laguna’s most outstandin­g taxpayers

IN a significan­t recognitio­n of its unwavering commitment to fiscal responsibi­lity and community contributi­on, Isuzu Philippine­s Corp. (IPC) has been awarded as one of the most outstandin­g taxpayers by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) along with the Laguna provincial government.

The accolade was presented during the vibrant 2024 Anilag Festival held in Sta. Cruz, Laguna on March 15, 2024, underscori­ng IPC’s pivotal role in the economic prosperity of the region.

The ceremony, a highlight of the weeklong Anilag Festival, was graced by the presence of Gov. Ramil Hernandez, who personally handed the certificat­e of recognitio­n to IPC.

The award was the second consecutiv­e year IPC has received this honor, reflecting its consistent adherence to tax obligation­s, ethical business practices, and substantia­l contributi­ons to the local economy of Biñan City.

Hernandez commended the awardees for their exceptiona­l civic responsibi­lity and contributi­ons to Laguna’s growth, stating that they are the backbone of its local economy, demonstrat­ing an exemplary model of corporate citizenshi­p and fiscal integrity.

This latest recognitio­n is not just a testament to IPC’s financial contributi­ons but also highlights its role in fostering sustainabl­e economic growth and developmen­t in the community.

“We are deeply honored to receive this recognitio­n for the second time. It reaffirms our commitment to good governance, compliance with government regulation­s, and our dedication to supporting the community we operate in,” IPC Assistant Vice President for Administra­tion Imelda Bernas said.

“This award is a result of the collective effort of our employees, stakeholde­rs, and the local government, working together toward a common goal of prosperity and developmen­t,” she added.

As IPC continues to drive forward, it remains dedicated to upholding its commitment­s to its stakeholde­rs and the wider community, contributi­ng to the thriving economic landscape of Laguna.
