Ninja Van streamlines SME supply chains with ‘Restock’
NINJA Van Philippines has launched Ninja Restock, a business-to-business (B2B) service designed to revolutionize supply chain operations for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
This innovative service, leveraging the expertise of the Ninja Van Group in e-commerce logistics, provides a hassle-free solution for distributing supplies to SMEs’ locations and branches, thereby transforming traditional logistics paradigms.
Ninja Van Philippines’ country head Vin Perez discussed the challenges SMEs face in restocking their stores from centralized warehouses.
“Many small and medium-sized businesses encounter difficulties in sending out products and supplies to their branches, particularly if they have less than a truckload’s (LTL) supply to send out at any given time,” he said.
Ninja Restock aims to alleviate these issues by providing a seamless resupply and delivery process. In today’s competitive market, customer perception of delivery speed is crucial.
KPMG data shows that 67 percent of Filipino businesses prioritize delivery speed as a key driver for success. Ninja Restock offers flexibility, cost optimization and nationwide coverage, enhancing operational efficiency and positioning SMEs for sustainable growth in a dynamic marketplace.
Ninja Van Philippines has expanded its services beyond restocking to include Ninja Fulfillment, a comprehensive suite of integrated services that includes manpower, warehousing, and inventory management. This holistic approach optimizes supply chain operations for SMEs, from storage to outbound delivery.
Ninja Van Chief Commercial Officer Sabina Lopez-Vergara emphasized the company’s expertise in e-commerce logistics. “As a trusted delivery partner of brands across a diverse set of verticals, we have a keen understanding of how the diverse logistics needs of businesses require a one-stop, seamless, solutions-based approach.”
Ninja Restock has been adopted by global brands like Skechers USA, Faber Castell in Malaysia, and Pickup Coffee in the Philippines. The logistics company has facilitated restocking for these brands, optimizing store space and avoiding stockouts.
Alongside the launch, Ninja Van held a forum with key stakeholders from the logistics and supply chain sector, including Trade Undersecretary Mary Jean Pacheco, Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines Vice President Pierre Carlo Curay, Procurement and Supply Chain Institute of Asia Chairman and CEO Charlie Villaseñor, Avon Philippines’ Kimwell Llanes, and the University of the Philippines Diliman’s Dr. Iris Ann Martinez. They discussed the present state of the country’s supply chain.
This event underscored Ninja Van’s steadfast commitment to nurturing dialogue and tackling business challenges head-on within the industry.
