Leading the charge was the highly anticipated GWM Tank 500, a vehicle that set new standards in the luxury SUV segment. Boasting of a 3.0-liter twin-turbo engine, the Tank 500 delivers exceptional performance figures, including 260 kilowatts (kW) of maximum engine power, 500 Newton-meters (Nm) of peak torque, and an impressive acceleration from 0-100 kilometer per hour (kph) in just 7.3 seconds. The vehicle’s prowess was evident in its four major advantages: robust power, fuel efficiency, reliable performance, and eco-friendly emissions. Equipped with a 9-speed automatic transmission gearbox, it ensures seamless power delivery and effortless performance across diverse terrains. With a chassis ground clearance of 224 mm and a maximum climbing slope of 75 percent, the intelligent all-terrain system of the GWM Tank 500 adapts effortlessly to various road conditions, offering drivers unparalleled control and confidence.
Following closely was the GWM Tank 700 Hi4-T, a fusion of performance and luxury that redefines the off-road driving experience. With its advanced 3.0-liter engine with Hi4-T technology, the Tank 700 Hi4-T combines outstanding performance with luxury, outperforming its counterparts with sub-5-second acceleration from 0-100 kph. The vehicle’s detachable stabilizer bar enhances off-road capabilities, while the ultrawide-angle light cloud seats provide unparalleled comfort, comparable to floating above the clouds. It also boasts advanced sound insulation technology ensuring a serene driving experience, even at high speeds. Another highlight at GWM’s showcase was the GWM Sahar Poer Hi4-T, hailed as the world’s first high-end luxury offroad hybrid pickup truck. At present, GWM Philippines offers the GWM Cannon pickup truck, Haval Jolion ICE, Haval Jolion HEV subcompact crossover, Haval H6 HEV (hybrid electric vehicle) SUV, the Tank 300 off-roader, and the Ora 03 sports EV (electric vehicle).
