From vacationing in the Philippines as a young child in the late 90s to becoming one of the most bankable celebrities in Philippine show business, Anne Curtis is the act to follow. This year marks her twentieth year in the industry, with numerous acting and hosting awards, including a Metro Manila Film Festival Best Actress Award in 2008 for her movie Baler. Curtis’ breakthrough began when she moved to ABS-CBN and bagged a lead role in a major teleserye in 2005, Kampanerang Kuba. Different shows and movies began rolling in, eventually leading to movies in which she earned her awards such as In Your Eyes (2010) and No Other Woman (2011).
As a testament to her star power, Curtis launched her album Annebisyosa in 2011 which reached platinum status and staged a solo concert world tour. It was later on followed up by a second album The Forbidden and solo concert, The Forbidden Concert Annekapal.

Not everything is glitz and glam for the soon-to-be-wed actress. Curtis became a celebrity advocate for UNICEF Philippines in 2015 after being a supporter since 2009. She married her fondness for fitness with her advocacy, launching “Heroes for Children Run” marathon to benefit a UNICEF Philippines’ campaign. Last year, Curtis collaborated with UNICEF Philippines for her children’s book, Anita, The Diva Duckling.
