Belo Medical Group debuts a leveled-up new look and experience that will undoubtedl­y put the Philippine­s on the world map as a leader in the global aesthetics game

YOU’VE PROBABLY SEEN snippets of the Belo Medical Group’s latest campaign, titled #NewPhaseNe­wFace featuring actress Jane de Leon, on billboards on EDSA or in social media and so it may not come as a surprise that there are some big changes underway for the country’s leading medical aesthetic clinic. With medical and beauty tourism on the rise, eyes are undoubtedl­y on the Philippine­s, much in part due to the Belo team’s hard work on building a stellar reputation that precedes them among a highly diverse and internatio­nal clientele. Moreover, Belo is the one and only aesthetic clinic partner of the Department of Tourism, and has begun work on inviting and bringing a growing number of people from all over the world to the country for medical aesthetics and wellness treatments.

Belo unveils a new look to mark a new phase in their story with their BGC flagship clinic. The clinic’s new aesthetic is clearly refreshed and features interior design by Budji+Royal and exclusive Kenneth Cobonpue furniture pieces made especially for Belo. “Next year, we are celebratin­g our 30 years and this is the beginning of the refresh of Belo,” says Dr.

Vicki Belo. She adds that the Belo group is unveiling new clinics in Megamall, Ayala Malls Bay Area, Clark, and Rockwell, which will carry this same look and aesthetic, one that is proudly Pinoy and world-class in every way.

“We have been going around the world and experienci­ng different clinics, and I’m proud to say there’s nothing like the Belo clinics, nothing like the Belo Medical Group,” shares Dr. Hayden Kho. “This is in terms of infrastruc­ture, of systems, of the number of clinics, but most especially the experience of our doctors.” He adds that the Belo Medical Group is well-known in the internatio­nal community for medical tourism, for patient care, and for the fact that they take the best technologi­es, machines, and procedures from the United States, from Europe, and from Asia, and bring it to the Philippine­s. “I can give you a list of almost 50 procedures Vicki has started here in the Philippine­s! And some really important ones that include botox, glycolic acid peel, Thermage, Ulthera… some even before the distributo­rs come to the country.” Dr. Belo injects and adds that Belo sets itself apart by knowing how to combine and get the best out of the different procedures.

Marking this new phase are several

changes and updates to create a new and different overall Belo experience that truly sets a new standard. There is a new website and Belo App look, as well as a new online experience with the Belo Shop where one can purchase favorite Belo products and have them delivered right to one’s doorstep. For patient experience, there is a new and unique means to check in before treatments with the Belo Aesthetic Interest Questionna­ire (Belo AIQ) which shortens waiting time of patients by allowing them to fill out their patient forms and create a personaliz­ed Belo Beauty Plan even before they step into the clinic. Belo BGC is also the first in Southeast Asia to be PUREcertif­ied, meaning patients can “breathe in beauty” through clean, pure air. Dr. Belo actually encourages clients to relax and lounge around to take in this fresh air in between treatments. Lastly but certainly not the least, Belo also unveils procedures and treatments exclusive to the clinic to bring out your best skin yet. New on its services menu are the Salt Facial, the Glass Skin Facial, Skin Genius which Dr. Belo likens to a combinatio­n of Thermage and Ulthera, and Face Gym, the latter of which will only be available at Belo BGC and only to select VIP clients.
