16 chosen as Honor Awards Program Regional Winners in Davao Region
DAVAO CITY -- The Civil Service Commission Regional Office No. XI (CSC RO XI) declares the Regional Winners for the Honor Awards Program’s (HAP) Search for Outstanding Government Workers for 2021.
The Civil Service Commission (CSC) conducts an Annual Search for Outstanding Government Workers in the entire country. Men and women with exceptional accomplishments are nominated under three categories under the CSC’s Honor Awards Program, namely: Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award (Group and Individual), CSC Pagasa Award (Group and Individual); and Outstanding Public Officials and Employees or Dangal ng Bayan Award.
Over the years, Davao Region has the most nominees hailed as Regional Winners and vie at the National level.
For this year, out of the 45 candidates, the Regional HAP Committee on Awards of the CSC RO XI has prudently hand-picked 16 winners from Davao del Norte, Davao de Oro, and Davao Oriental.
The lone Presidential Lingkod Bayan Regional Winner is Mr. Harold S. Dawa, City Agriculturist from the City Government of Tagum. The Presidential Lingkod Bayan is a recognition given to an individual or group for exceptional contributions that had a nationwide impact.
The CSC Pagasa Award is given to an individual or group of individuals for outstanding contributions that directly benefit more than one department of the government. There are six Individual Regional Winners and seven Group Regional Winners:

1. Mr. Arthur Carlos Voltaire R. Rimando, Vice Mayor of Maco, Davao de Oro;
2. Ms. Memia B. Infiesto, Principal IV of Panabo National High School, Department of Education, Panabo City, Davao del Norte;
3. Mr. Hernani A. Resueno, Jr. Project Development Officer III of DepEd Division of Panabo City, Panabo City, Davao del Norte;
4. Atty. Rosemarie B. Garde, City Administrator of Local Government of Island Garden City of Samal;
5. Ms. Elma A. Prudente, Principal II of Tamia Elementary School, DepEd Division of Mati City; and
6. Ms. Hadjuria C. Gonzales, Master Teacher I of Tagabakid Elementary School, DepEd Division of Mati City.
The following are the seven Group Regional Winners:
