MANILA - More than 10,000 job vacancies can be accessed by job seekers through the Department of Labor and Employment’s (DOLE) online job portal.

According to the DOLE, its internet- based job and applicant matching system PhilJobNet has recorded this week a total of 10,045 new active vacancies in the local employment industry.

In her report to Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III, Bureau of Local Employment ( BLE) Director Dominique Tutay said positions for call center agents, staff nurse, and non-formal education teacher, are among the top 20 vacancies recorded by the PhilJobNet portal.

Positions for call center agents, at 1,876, lead the most number of vacancies in the government- run online job portal.

Other job vacancies up for grabs are for customer service assistant (778), staff nurse ( 679), non- formal education teacher ( 648), promo salesperso­n ( 635), production machine operator (594), sales clerk (561), sales associate profession­al (522), manufactur­ing laborer (495), and waiter (431).
