Boy killed in crossfire

ILOILO City – Policemen were attempting to arrest two fugitives yesterday in Barangay Agpalali, Tapaz, Capiz but a 13- year- old boy was gunned down in crossfire.

The teenager died of gunshot wounds on the abdomen and thighs at the Tapaz District Hospital, according to Senior Inspector Hilbert Gervero, Tapaz police chief.

Five personnel of the Tapaz police station were tasked to serve arrest warrants to the boy’s father Mario Felomino and uncle Rolando Felomino who were charged with murder around 7 a.m.

According to Gervero, the

The Felomino brothers escaped, leaving the wounded boy behind.

The boy died while being rushed by policemen to the hospital.

Gervero said Mario was No. 6 and Rolando No. 7 in the Tapaz police station’s list of municipal fugitives. Their arrest warrants were issued by Judge Edith Orendain-Tonogbanua of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 20.
