UAAP champ Green Archers set to play in upcoming Charter Day tilt

n men’s basketball champion De La Salle University Green Archers is set to appear during Iloilo City’s 80th Charter Day celebration from Aug. 21 to 23.
According to Iloilo City Sports Development officer Rommel Castro, the Green Archers will be playing a goodwill game against a local basketball team and will also conduct basketball clinic for young Ilonggo cagers.
“DLSU was invited by the Iloilo City Government for our 80th Charter Day Celebration,” Castro told News. “As part of DLSU’s corporate social
Panay responsibility, they will conduct free sports clinic to our selected public school students.”
Among those who are set to lead the Green Archers are UAAP Season 78 MVP Benoit Mbala, Andrei Caracut, Ricci Rivero, Aljun Melecio, and Bacolodnon Kirell Brahndon Montalbo. Also set to appear are Abu
rt Tratter, Rashleigh Rivero, Joshua Gonzales, Leonard Santillan, Jose Go IV, Gabrielle Capacio, Justine Baltazar, John Gob, Brent Paraiso, and Ramil Tero.
