In 2014, Sio was given the USA Alumni Achievement Award – a search launched when the University of San Agustin celebrated its 60th Anniversary as a University i n 2013 – not only i n recognition of his exemplary achievement i n the field o f en t r e p r e n e u r s h i p and management. Most i mportantly, h e was recognized by his Alma Mate r fo r be i n g a n instrument in transforming lives and communities by means of his significant co n t r i b u t i o n s t o hi s profession. Through the life he lived, he was able to communicate to the broader society the true value of an Augustinian education – the formation of hearts and minds so that the pursuit of excellence shall not only be for the self but, most importantly, for others.
