Argument leads to shooting

BACOLOD City – Who would have thought that a fight over a goat will lead to a shooting incident?

In Barangay Poblacion 1, Sagay City, a 59-year-old man was wounded after he was shot on Saturday.

Francisco Consas of Barangay Poblacion 2, Sagay City, was rushed to the hospital after sustaining three gunshot wounds on his body.

The suspect, Rammie Obares, 38, of Barangay 1 in the city, fled after the incident.

Investigation revealed that Obares complained about Consas’ goat which was allegedly destroying some portion of the sugarcane that the suspect takes care of.
