Let’s play soccer!

HAS it ever crossed your mind that you want to play soccer? Have you ever thought of soccer not only as a sport but also as a recreation­al activity?

The Philippine­s has been a marked in the whole world as a country where basketball is treated like a religion, we have seen how diversitie­s did not hinder us from playing the sports that Filipinos really loved.

But nonetheles­s, basketball isn’t the number one sport in the whole world: it is soccer.

Soccer or also known as football surely has a l ong history. Soccer is indisputab­ly the most popular team sport in the world.

According to history, soccer has been invented in England in the middle of the 19th century. But it is also been said that no one can really say with any degree of certainty when or where the game of soccer began.

Likewise, soccer was evolved from a wide variety of games over a period spanning more than 2,000 years t hat was evidence abounds that some versions of the game were played in ancient China, Japan, Greece, Rome, Australia and the Americas

And playing soccer has been considered as a very good way to become and to stay being fit. That is why it is important to know how to play it. Especially since soccer could have been more of a sport but also can be a career.

And if you really want to know how to play it then follow the steps below:

First, learn the basics. – It is very important to know first the basic rules of soccer and understand each position. Usually, basics aren’t fun but they’re important. You can start playing once you understand them

Second, start practicing – they said practice makes perfect and by doing so everything is possible. Practicing before j umping into a game or tryout. You need to become familiar with the basic skills in order to enjoy playing.

It is essential to practice these four skills: ball control, dribbling, passing, and shooting.

And third, find and join a team.

Joining a team will help you hone your ability as a player. You will play games against competitiv­e teams and improve during practices.

There are three types of teams–recreation­al, select, and school teams. Recreation­al teams will accept anyone, but you must try- out for select and school teams.
