Obesity confronts preschool children

ILOILO City – One in every 100 preschool children in Western Visayas is obese, according to the National Nutrition Council (NNC). It may be a reflection of an economy doing well but it has risks, too. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines obesity as abnormal or excessive fat accumulation that presents a risk to health.
