Silay local turns self in to police

BACOLOD City – Charged for violating Republic Act 7610 (Special Protection of Children against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act), a woman surrendered to the police in Silay City, Negros Occidental.

The 39-year-old Joehanna Cargando of Murcia, Negros Occidental was detained at the Silay City police station lockup facility.

Cargando turned herself in on Tuesday after an arrest warrant was issued against her by Judge Dyna Doll Trocio of the Regional Trial Court Branch 40 in Silay City.

An P80,000 bail bond was recommended for her temporary liberty./
