DENR sets deadlines for Boracay STP installati­on

Vintage bomb unearthed in San Jose

SAN JOSE, Antique – An undetonate­d vintage bomb was found at a constructi­on site in this capital town.

One of the site’s workers discovered the explosive device around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday in Barangay 4.

Carpenter Sandy Francisco of Barangay Kamalig, Jaro, Iloilo City was doing a surface- clearing operation when he found the bomb, police said.

The explosive device measured 4 inches in diameter and 12 inches in length. It has a small tube tail.

The bomb was now in custody of the Antique Police Provincial Office. It will be properly disposed of./

Moreover, establishm­ents with 30 to 49 rooms have until Nov. 30 to construct their individual or clustered STPs.

Those with six to 29 rooms have until Dec. 31 to do the same.
