Newly identified drug suspect falls
BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu was recovered from a man in a drug buy- bust operation at Canetown Subdivision i n Barangay 19-A, Victorias City, Negros Occidental, police said.
The 22- year- old Clyde Ramirez is a newly identified drug personality, according to Victorias City police head Chief Inspector Eduardo Corpuz.
Ramirez was caught around 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday after he allegedly sold shabu to an undercover police officer for P400.
A total of four sachets containing suspected shabu worth about P5,000 were recovered from Ramirez.
Aside from these, drug paraphernalia, two cellphones and P300 cash believed to be proceeds from illegal drug transactions were seized from the suspect.
Ramirez, detained in the lockup cell of the Victorias City police station, was facing charges for violation of sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./
