ALL schools need a head teacher for the school to run smoothly and in order as to a certain country who needs a president, a company who needs a CEO and a group who needs a leader.

Head teachers are leaders and leaders are like normal members should be good followers too. Just like any other leaders, the role of the head teachers covers many different areas including leadership, teacher evaluation, student discipline, and many others.

Being an effective head teacher is hard work and is also time-consuming. Head teachers or head leaders are among the most important members of a school community, directing overall prospects for students and staff. They need to show strong good sense of direction and needs to prove themselves as talented leaders.

Also, successful head teachers show great determination, with the willpower and patience to see things through. They are the people who are willing to take risks and are really steadfast in challenging under performance or poor behavior.
