TECHNOLOGY innovations have only been rapidly increasing since the widespread of the Coronavirus pandemic. As technology had become much more advanced, we now have more ways than one to accomplish tasks after another without the need to leave the comforts of our home. Communicating to the opposite part of the world is as easy as pressing a small button on our phones. Classes are even conducted through the power of the internet and learning modules. A big sum of the population has benefited from Information and Communication Technology or ICT as it aimed to cater to the needs of people during quarantine and lockdown, in efforts to help ease the ever-inflating numbers of COVID-19 cases.

Technology became the mainstream when it comes to cooking, cleaning, you name every single chore, and even in the new normal communication. But of course, advantages are always linked with disadvantages. We could not overshadow the fact that while many are appeased with the progressive technology, some could not even afford to have decent gadgets that would help them to learn and make their lives easier amidst the pandemic. Another hurdle in ICT is surely the very unstable internet connection our country has to suffer. While the aggregate of work-related meetings and seminars are being held thru video communication applications, if you were to ask someone about the call stability, with no doubt you will be answered with sighs and exhaustion as the connectivity is extremely terrible.

There are still a large number of citizens that are having a difficult time adjusting to ICT as it had become the new normal. However ahead the technology is, the fact that many are still left struggling to keep up could not be hindered, and such has to be addressed in order to make their lives a whole lot better.
