She Needs to Breathe Too

- By: Shery l A. Flores

The Earth aches because of us, yet it calls us. Are we ready to answer the call? The noticeable fast and hasty shiftings of our ecological issues rise more than a percent. For past centuries, humans have contended to raise morale by combatting pollution and the root causes of the Earth’s deterioration. Yet, despite multiple tries, conflicting with the emergence of both systemic and natural environmental problems is hardly addressed.

Ecological interventions to save the Earth will never be taken into the lens of success as long as no human ever tries to establish a sustainable movement for the environment.

The domino effect-like and massive prism of waste pollutants and the continual operation of polyethylene plastics burst toxins that should jeopardize nature. This volume of garbage will hinder the growth of plants as they challenge them to obtain the sufficient amount of water they need. Right now, bewildering sewages function gradually as they constrain the natural flow process. As humans, the job is to delve into the significance of such cause, seeing gigantic power in people to do action – to be immersed in the idea of a purposeful climate fight.

Human-induced activities such as the progressing utilization of plastics help invoke terrain troubles – forcing the stigmatic blemish in the Earth to continue to foster. Considering people’s lack of motive and intent to save Earth, regardless of how many interventions will be made, if humans have no collective effort, it will never be possible. More so, in the same essence that we consume all the resources from the planet we live in altogether shall be one of the sole purposes to identify our responsibility to respond promptly to environmental dilemmas.

Consequently, it is conceived that we can be the first generation ever to find a solution to alleviate the fight against ecological deterioration. Hence, we can be the last generation to ever make an initiative before it is too late. Perceiving as it should, pollution starts with us and should end through us.(
