Iloilo’s ‘most modern’ McDonald’s at Iloilo Business Park

WHO knew fast food dining could get more convenient? Patrons are definitely able to say “Love ko ‘ to!” anew as exciting additions were welcomed during the recent reopening of the “most modern McDonald’s store” in the entire Iloilo.

The refurbished McDonald’s NXTGEN store at Megaworld’s Iloilo Business Park showcases several firsts for Iloilo. It could now serve your caffeine fix 24 hours a day at the McCafé and has a tandem drive- thru ( two- at- a- time ordering) featuring customer order displays.

Wireless smartphone charging ports are installed at communal tables. It also employs self-ordering kiosks with digital payment channels for cashless transactions.

In i ts thrust towards sustainability, a “green” wall has been installed outside the store. Soon, i t will also dedicate an e- vehicle charging station and utilize solar lamps.

With Iloilo City being known as the “Bike Capital of the Philippines,” exciting developments I l onggos should watch out for and will definitely love include the bike-and-dine facility with its own bike repair station.

When it first opened in 2014, it used to be the biggest McDonald’s store in the entire province and city of Iloilo. Then, in November 2023, the store temporarily halted its operations to make way for the renovation.

“A decade later, we still celebrate lots of exciting firsts here at McDonald’s Iloilo Business Park, including being the biggest in terms of seating capacity among all McDonald’s stores in Iloilo City,” said Eugene Reducindo, managing director of Choice Gourmet Banquet, Inc., the company t hat operates McDonald’s Iloilo Business Park.

To allow more people to enjoy their favorite McDonald’s must- haves, the store now has a larger capacity of around 250 diners. It has three function rooms—the first in the entire Iloilo province to do so—one on the ground floor and two on the second floor.

McDonald’s Iloilo Business Park’s overall design follows the Ray Palette concept, the fast food giant’s signature global design scheme standard that emphasizes space and lighting.

Its iconic signature yellow staircase, similar to the one seen at McDonald’s Times Square in New York City, leads to the second floor, where the dedicated space for kids’ play is situated./

Iloilo’s “most modern McDonald’s store” has finally opened its doors inside property giant Megaworld’s 72-hectare Iloilo Business Park township in Mandurriao, Iloilo City. The newly renovated store, which is dubbed the biggest in the city in terms of seating capacity, showcases several ‘first-in-Iloilo’ features, including the province’s first-ever McCafe, Bike and Dine facility, Tandem Drive-Thru, and more.
