Miracles in life?

TO ESTABLISH if miracles can happen in our everyday life, we have to look at what they actually are.

Mira c l e s a r e d e f i n e d a s extraordinary events, supernatural phenomena, something t hat humans can’t explain. They are a manifestation of spiritual power, a remarkable development of events with a very welcome result Allow me to move your view to other wonders, to supernatural happenings or t o a prodigy. A “mirac l e” ( f rom t he Latin “miraculum”) can be actually found at any corner of our daily life. I am not yet talking about the so- called miracle plays, the popular medieval form of drama based on the lives of the Saints or on Biblical history.

Every day we experience miracles. The chance to wake up and be with our loved ones is a miracle in itself. How can life ever be sad if we believe and know that miracles do happen?

It’s been a habit of mine to count the daily miracles in my life. Then even the darkest and unhappy moments i n my l i fe fail to put me down because I know that when tomorrow comes new miracles will happen. One of the miracles I have received in my life is the gift of spirituality. Learning to be solely responsible for my life, and my happiness (and/ or lack of it), and learning that we are all here to make a change in our lives and in the lives of others. Let’s begin with ourselves. Can you still see the doors of opportunity just opened for you? Why is it that so many people nowadays get tired instead of discovering their own “VIP” within? The Bible clearly states that God has “crowned us with glory and honor” (Psalm 8:5).

“Honor” is equal to “favor”. To assist, to provide with special advantages and to receive preferential treatment. No, these are indeed and definitely miracles. This should be common sense, but it seems that many of us have forgotten it! Yes. We have a supernatural God. I say this, without thinking about special religious directions or ministries. We all believe in one God. As a Christian I would explain it as follows: He is not limited to the laws of nature. He can do what human beings cannot.

He can make a way in our life. Let us not imagine how hopeless a situation looks like. We may not be a priest, pastor or preacher, but we can mix our simple words with God’s words and something powerful begins to happen.
