Jericho Rosales, Kim Jones separated since 2019
J ERICHO Rosales and his wife, Kim Jones, have decided to part ways in 2019, according to Ricco Ocampo – a close friend and godfather of the two.
Ricco, in a statement, revealed to ABS- CBN News that the two remain good f riends even after their separation.
Jericho and Kim had been married close to a decade before their breakup.
“While the friendship between the two remains, they have decided it is time to lead separate lives. They are encouraging each other to grow, albeit in different directions. It was a mutual decision, an amicable separation, dealt with grace and maturity by both parties,” Ricco shared with ABS-CBN News.
The announcement comes after several rumors about their separation surfaced on social media.
Netizens have noticed that they weren’t actively posting about each other on social media unlike before.
“The two are filled with gratitude for the memories they’ve made together and the lessons they’ve learned.
They have journeyed through the separation with the utmost respect and care toward one another precisely because Echo and Kim are the best of friends and love each other like family,” Ricco remarked.
He assured the fans that nothing “borne out of ill feelings” happened before the split. He shared that Jericho and Kim have so much respect for one another that they “wish the best for each other.”
“They are i ncredibly grateful for those who have supported them throughout the years, and appreciate the respect of their privacy during this time,” he said.
Earlier this month, the award-winning actor shared that the state of his heart has been “good.”
However, Jericho failed to comment on the rumors in the surprise interview. Then again, he reassured that he and Kim are on good terms.
Kim and Jericho tied the knot back in May 2014 on the island of Boracay.
They moved to New York in 2022, where Jericho took acting lessons while Kim flew in and out of the city for her career in fashion.
