Kylian Mbappé reportedly moving to Real Madrid

FRENCH football star Kylian Mbappé is set to take his talents to Real Madrid Club de Fútbol once his contract with Paris Saint- Germain Football Club (PSG) expires this summer.

According to a report by Le Parisien, Mbappé has reached a verbal agreement with Real Madrid as both camps will still finalize the details of the contract.

“For PSG and various major players in French football, there is no longer room for doubt: (Mbappé) has decided to leave Ligue 1 at the end of the season,” Le Parisien’s report stated.

“He will join the biggest football club in the world this summer, Real Madrid CF, which has been waiting for him to sign a contract eversince,” it added.

The report added that Mbappé’s desire to be allowed to play with France in the 2024 Paris Olympics will be an important part of the negotiatio­ns with Real Madrid.

Real Madrid has been trying to recruit Mbappé for years now and they were close to land him in 2022, but the French football star opted to finish his contract with PSG.

At Real Madrid, the France national men’s football team star is set to join fellow superstars Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Jr., and Luka Modric, who is reportedly considerin­g to move to Inter Miami CF.

The 25-year-old Mbappé spent the last six years with PSG, and he played a key role in the football club’s five Ligue 1 and two Trophée des Champions titles.

Mbappé is poised to win his sixth Ligue 1 championsh­ip this season as PSG is way ahead in the standings with 47 points, on 14 wins, five draws, and one defeat.

With Mbappé’s impending departure, PSG will reportedly follow their Plan B by trying to recruit AC Milan’s Rafael Leão in the upcoming transfer window./
