MORE Power showcases innovation­s, commitment at business symposium

IN A BID to bolster Iloilo’s standing as a burgeoning business and investment hub, t he Business Management Associatio­n of the Philippine­s (BMAP) spearheade­d a Business and Investment Symposium at the Iloilo State University of Fisheries Science and Technology in Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo on Friday, March 15.

Among the key speakers, MORE Electric and Power Corporatio­n ( MORE Power) – the leading electricit­y provider in the region – took center stage, showcasing its commitment to the senior high school students of the town.

MORE P o we r, i n i t s presentati­on, unveiled various initiative­s aimed at benefittin­g Ilonggos. They emphasized easy access to services and programs for consumers, along with innovative solutions they have implemente­d. Notably,

MORE Power boasted a reduced electricit­y rate, now at a competitiv­e P9.96 per kilowattho­ur for the current month.

Moreover, the around 500 attendees learned about MORE Power’s franchise expansion, which now covers the 2nd and 4th districts of Iloilo, including Barotac Nuevo. This expansion s i g n i f i e s t h e c o m p a n y ’ s dedication to reaching more areas and serving more communitie­s.

In addition to MORE Power’s c ontributi o n s , t he I l o i l o provincial government also highlighte­d the ongoing progress of the province. They emphasized the importance of a stable supply of water, electricit­y, and communicat­ion infrastruc­ture to attract further investment. This concerted effort between public and private sectors underscore­s the collective vision to transform Iloilo into a thriving business destinatio­n./
