Kris Aquino postpones hospital confinement in the US
IT’S been almost two years since Kris Aquino flew to the US to seek treatment for her various autoimmune diseases. Now, it looks like the country’s Queen of All Media is set to be confined this year as confirmed by her ex- boyfriend Mark Leviste who gave an update to the press during the opening event of Barako Fest 2024 last March 14. The Batangas vice governor shared that Kris postponed her scheduled confinement in a hospital in Los Angeles, California because of the COVID- 19 alerts in the medical facility.
“She’s still coping with the treatments. She postponed her confinement at UCLA hospital. While I was still there, nagkaroon ng COVID alert sa mga medical facilities. That’s why I decided to go home first. But anytime that she needs me to be in Los Angeles, of course I’ll give it my utmost priority,” he said
Earlier this year, Mark called out rumors circulating online that Kris had already passed away. The public servant said that aside from fulfilling his duties to his constituents in the country, he is still involved in his former flame’s l ife and would not hesitate to return to California if she needs him. He also shared plans to return to the US after Holy Week this month.
Mark also revealed he was in touch with Kris’s siblings and close friends.
“Of course her condition i s critical pero sa awa ng Diyos, nairaraos. Malaking bagay ‘ yung mga panalangin na ipinapaabot natin sa kanya. Your prayers go a very, very long way. Her condition is critical but with God’s mercy, she is able to soldier on. Our prayers for her contribute a huge part (in her healing),” he added.
Kris first opened up about her split with Mark last July 2023, citing the challenge of maintaining a longdistance relationship as the reason behind separation.
When asked to share if he had any message for Kris, Mark said “I miss you and I always pray for you, and I love you.
