Panghulan

In his Lenten message, Lazo said Holy Week is a time for reflecting on the days of the Lord’s life before he died.

“Ginapakilala sa aton ang Dios, indi lamang matuod nga tawo kundi matuod nga Dios man. Ang iban nga mga tawo sadto indi makabaton sang iya pagka- Dios, gani ang Ginoo nagpahayag nga sia naghalin sa Dios kag ginpadala sang Dios sang iya tatay sa langit,” he said. According to Lazo, this observance of Holy Week reminds us of the pains, hardships, and burdens the Lord went through, and that the sufferings people face are a test of a person’s faith in the promise of salvation.
