CATCH UP FRIDAY
“Cath Up Friday” is a product of brilliant minds of educators and school administrators who advocate for dedicating one day of the week for students to catch up missed work, assignments or lessons. This initiative aims to provide students with opportunity to manage their workload effectively, reduce stress, and improve academic performance. Catch Up Friday proponents believe that by having a designated day for catching up, students can enhance their learning experience and stay on track with their studies. This program helps ensure that students who were absent due to various reasons can still keep up with their studies and not fall behind their peers.
Catch Up Friday is a program of DepEd consist of remedial classes, enrichment activities, and other interventions aimed at helping students who may have fallen behind in their studies or need additional support to enhance their learning. By offering remedial classes and enrichment activities.
The suggested activities for Catch Up Fridays can include reviewing notes, completing unfinished assignments, organizing study materials, seeking clarification on challenging topics, and preparing for upcoming assessments. “Cath Up Friday” also gives opportunity to all learners to showcase their talents as well discovering their strengths and work on to surpass their weaknesses. In addition, this program is child friendly because there is no pressure on the part of the learners. They can learn at their own pace, at their most comfortable place and with their favorite peers.
