THE BISTRO Group, a trailblazer in the local restaurant scene and a pioneer in the casual dining segment, has acquired Murray and D’Vine, a popular bar at Serendra, Bonifacio Global City. The company will take over the operations, management and general supervision, including day-to-day operations.

The entry of Murray and D’Vine brings to 12 the restaurants under The Bistro Group. To date, it owns and operates TGIFriday’s, Italianni’s, Fish & Co, Bulgogi Brothers, Modern Shanghai, Watami, Tonkatsu by Terazawa, Siklab, Krazy Garlik, Village Tavern and Buffalo Wild Wings. It also operates The Bistro Academy that offers culinary and hospitality industry courses.

Murray and D’Vine has a strong following among the local folk as well as expatriates because of its cozy and casual atmosphere, American comfort food, wide selection of cocktails, beers and wines with music of the ’80s as well as 2000 hits to complete the ambiance.

The Bistro Group plans to build on Murray and D’Vine’s success by intensifying its promotions and bar activities.

“We are excited with the entry of Murray and D’Vine, the first bar under the Bistro Group. The way that past management handled their customers and employees really makes it easier for us to inject the Bistro Group’s management style and service to Murray and D’Vine. We are optimistic that the business will grow. We believe in the brand and would like to use Bistro’s time-tested formula of offering the best food, service and value for money that our guests have come to love,” says Paul Manuud, COO of The Bistro Group.
