Mastering EQ and Body Language for Leaders

-

AMONG LEADERS, we all know that IQ and strong technical skills may get you promoted, but great Emotional Quotient (EQ Intelligence) and knowing how to read people's body language is what gets you to the top. It is what makes you partner material of your firm or a more effective leader of your organization.

What was once exclusively taught in the Asian Development Bank (ADB) is now available to the public for the first time. The Center for Global Best Practices is launching this special program entitled, "Leadership in Action: Mastering EQ and Body Language" on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at the Edsa ShangriLa Hotel, Mandaluyong City, Philippines. This is the only program that combines EQ and body language with very effective results in improving the leadership skills of people in organizations. EQ is what connects you to others and builds trust, and knowing how to interpret body language gives you the power to understand people better by reading their actions accurately.

This unique oneday program is originally designed as a special course to strengthen the leadership skills of all officers and leaders of ADB. Dr. Phillip Ash's retirement from this prestigious organization now allows him to share his knowledge to many others so the public may benefit from his pioneering world-class program. When you have mastery of what isn't being said and interpret the emotional information contained in facial expressions and body language of others, you can excel in handling and leading people, be faster in selling ideas, products and services, be better in negotiations and more effective in building relationships whether in business or in your personal life. Your newly acquired knowledge that you can immediately put to work will develop your abilities to better quality interactions that are so useful in your daily life. Learning such skills can significantly increase your productivity and performance. This skills training program is highly useful for leaders and as an integral part of an organization's leadership succession initiatives in developing people in the leadership pipeline. For details and a complete list of other upcoming best practices seminars including his two other June 2015 lectures entitled (1) Best Leadership Practices in Effective Change Management which is an opportunity for him to share his experiences being the change management practice director of Andersen Consulting for many Asian countries, and (2) Masterclass in Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, you may log on to www.cgbp.org or call (02) 842-7148/ 59 and 556-8968/ 69, Cebu lines: (032) 512-3106 or 07 or Baguio line: (074) 423-5148.
