Hear about how a winning campaign was created from a seemingly simple brainwave while on vacation as veteran adman David Guerrero talks about how "More Fun in the Philippines" was made, in tandem with Department of Tourism Secretary Mon Jimenez. Their talk, titled "Creativity that Travels" will be part of the adobo Festival of Ideas which will be held at Resorts World Manila's Newport Performing Arts Theater on November 7, 2015.
Celebrating the power of creativity, the wholeday affair organized by adobo magazine will be filled with various collaborative talks as top luminaries from the advertising and marketing industry explore the theme of "Driving the Creative Economy". It takes a look at our industry as a living system that thrives on the exchange of ideas and innovation by nurturing healthy symbiotic relationships, strive to replenish our creative currency and prevent burnout, and cross-pollinate ideas to create prosperity for all.
Targeted towards students, junior practitioners and enthusiasts of advertising / communications, marketing, multimedia arts and design, the festival offers an opportunity to learn from the industry's movers and shakers as they talk about their field of specialty. Completing the powerhouse speaker line-up are other duos like award-winning industrial designer Kenneth Cobonpue with entrepreneur Manny Ayala, TBWA\Digital Arts Network's Ed Mapa with McDonald's EVP Margot Torres, Publicis Singapore's Lou Dela Peña with Nestle Philippines Marketing Head Paolo Mercado, and Brand New Media's Mike Constantino with McCann Worldgroup and Trese author Budjette Tan.
