Hear about how a winning campaign was created from a seemingly simple brainwave while on vacation as veteran adman David Guerrero talks about how "More Fun in the Philippine­s" was made, in tandem with Department of Tourism Secretary Mon Jimenez. Their talk, titled "Creativity that Travels" will be part of the adobo Festival of Ideas which will be held at Resorts World Manila's Newport Performing Arts Theater on November 7, 2015.

Celebratin­g the power of creativity, the wholeday affair organized by adobo magazine will be filled with various collaborat­ive talks as top luminaries from the advertisin­g and marketing industry explore the theme of "Driving the Creative Economy". It takes a look at our industry as a living system that thrives on the exchange of ideas and innovation by nurturing healthy symbiotic relationsh­ips, strive to replenish our creative currency and prevent burnout, and cross-pollinate ideas to create prosperity for all.

Targeted towards students, junior practition­ers and enthusiast­s of advertisin­g / communicat­ions, marketing, multimedia arts and design, the festival offers an opportunit­y to learn from the industry's movers and shakers as they talk about their field of specialty. Completing the powerhouse speaker line-up are other duos like award-winning industrial designer Kenneth Cobonpue with entreprene­ur Manny Ayala, TBWA\Digital Arts Network's Ed Mapa with McDonald's EVP Margot Torres, Publicis Singapore's Lou Dela Peña with Nestle Philippine­s Marketing Head Paolo Mercado, and Brand New Media's Mike Constantin­o with McCann Worldgroup and Trese author Budjette Tan. Solo speakers include: AKQA Shanghai's Eric Cruz, Plus63's Dan Matutina, and sculptor/artist Leeroy New.
