Makati mall goes beyond holiday decor
ONE OF Manila’s premier lifestyle destinations, Greenbelt, takes part in the holiday celebrations with its commitment to provide unique experiences for Filipinos.
The luxury shopping hub launched its series of Christmas festivities with a grand cocktail gathering at Greenbelt 5 Fashion Walk on Nov. 11. The highlight was the Christmas tree lighting ceremony and a fireworks display. Kapamilya stars Erik Santos and Nikki Gil kicked off the Christmas concert series with a stirring performance.
The mall also gave out its Greenbelt Holiday Guide at retail stops in the mall. The glossy mag puts the spotlight on the excellent finds for the holiday season. Its fashion and beauty features have tips for the style-conscious women and debonair guys for Christmas parties and New Year’s Eve bashes.
It is also a handy guide that comes with a map of restaurant selections for the best eats in town, home decor ideas and gift picks for the little ones.
Christmas market
Make all the weekends of December awesome and memorable when you spend it with your loved ones at Greenbelt’s Christmas Market. The bazaar will have items ranging from food options to locally made interior accents, art pieces and fashion emblems as well as live art activities and band shows. The weekend market will be held from 4 to 10 p.m. on Dec. 5-6, 12-13, 19-20 and 26-27. Shop for more unique finds with the Designer’s Holiday Bazaar, a curated fair at the Greenbelt 5 Gallery from Nov. 16 to Dec. 22.
Throughout the month, the retail giant will give back through the shopping promo, “From Greenbelt with Love,” which will bring joy and smiles to the less fortunate. For a minimum P10,000 purchase at any store in Greenbelt, each shopper will get to fulfill any item from the wish list of the partner foundations Children’s Hour, Center of Excellence in Public Elementary Education (CENTEX), Habitat for Humanity. And for every donation, the shopper will receive a surprise Christmas treat from Greenbelt that can come in the form of movie tickets, dinner date for two, parking passes and other exciting giveaways.

At Greenbelt 5 Fashion Walk, Adora will bring its holiday features in the limelight from Dec. 1 to Jan. 5 and Rimowa will let its design ornaments shine from Dec. 15 to Jan. 4. Harlan + Holden will cheer its guests with their pop-up booth at the lobby of Greenbelt 5 from Dec. 1 to Feb. 29.
