Australia’s Deakin offers two new scholarshi­ps

TWO NEW scholarshi­ps for internatio­nal students, including those from the Philippine­s, are being offered by Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia.

The Deakin Vice Chancellor’s Internatio­nal Scholarshi­p will be awarded to undergradu­ate and postgradua­te students who register high academic performanc­e and show a potential to make a significan­t contributi­on to the university.

Under the scholarshi­p program, qualified applicants shall be entitled to a 100-percent full tuition scholarshi­p or a 50-percent partial tuition scholarshi­p, plus one-time cost-of-living allowance, bookshop voucher and acceptance into Deakin University’s signature leadership program.

The successful applicants shall have priority on-campus accommodat­ion and be entitled to a 25-percent reduction in fees for every subsequent year of study.
