Australia’s Deakin offers two new scholarships
TWO NEW scholarships for international students, including those from the Philippines, are being offered by Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia.
The Deakin Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarship will be awarded to undergraduate and postgraduate students who register high academic performance and show a potential to make a significant contribution to the university.
Under the scholarship program, qualified applicants shall be entitled to a 100-percent full tuition scholarship or a 50-percent partial tuition scholarship, plus one-time cost-of-living allowance, bookshop voucher and acceptance into Deakin University’s signature leadership program.
The successful applicants shall have priority on-campus accommodation and be entitled to a 25-percent reduction in fees for every subsequent year of study.
