Social entrepreneurship meet Dec. 14-15
THE 6TH NATIONAL Social Entrepreneurship Conference will be held on Dec. 14-15 at Escaler Hall of Ateneo de Manila University, Loyola Heights, Quezon City.
Conference theme is “Social Enterprise and Policy: Enabling Inclusive Economies.”
The conference, originally scheduled in October but reset because of Typhoon “Lando,” aims to look at how public policy can support social enterprises through the promotion of social entrepreneurship; building of legal, regulatory and fiscal frameworks; provision of sustainable finance and the offer of business development services and support structures.
Speakers are professor and INQUIRER columnist Cielito Habito, Dr. Eduardo Morato, Dr. Lisa Dacanay and Director Jerry Clavesillas of the Department of Trade and Industry.
Also addressing the conference are Grace Hoang of Center for Social Incentives Promotion Vietnam, Markus Dietrich of Asian Social Enterprise Incubator and Peter Hammerle of Foundation of These Abled Persons Inc.
The conference is organized by Ateneo Center for Social Entrepreneurship, Philippine Social Enterprise Network and Foundation for a Sustainable Society Inc., in partnership with BPI Foundation.
