U-BIX CELEBRATES 45TH ANNIVERSARY

In his welcome remarks, U-Bix founder and chairman Edilberto “Bert” Bravo thanked business partners, company executives, and clients who contributed to the success of U-Bix, which today is a leader in providing one-stop solutions for the office and printing industry. Bravo specially thanked his U-Bix co-founders Enrique Belo and Nena Belo, the husband and wife team who were also his partners in establishing Bookhaven Inc., the company that inspired the founding of U-Bix Corporation. “Enrique ‘Ike’ Belo and his wife Nena were my partners since our first venture Bookhaven started in 1969. In 1974, an opportunity came to distribute Konica plain paper copiers and in 1974, we launched U-Bix.” Bravo also extended his thanks to the pioneer executives who helped in organizing and managing the company, thereby establishing a good foundation for the company to steer it to the path of success. Executives who helped the company grow to what it is now included: Francisco Mendoza, U-Bix’s first executive vice president, Danilo Casaje, former executive vice president for finance and administration, and Vida Ty, former president and currently serving as senior adviser. The 45th anniversary celebration was also an opportunity for U-Bix Corporation to present awards of appreciation to its business partners and key customers.
