Make routine disinfecting pleasant

- ANTON BARRETTO AND MARISSA LOPA

Taking precaution should be a habit by now

Life as we know it will never be the same. Experts say we need to accept the changes in our lifestyles and learn to make the best of them.

The whole routine of disinfecting and being on guard is now de rigueur, so let’s find ways to make it fit it in our lives without seeming clinical and cold.

We can start by using items lying around the house.

We found an old basket sitting on a kitchen shelf as decor, and put all the disinfecting paraphernalia in it. We labeled an old jewelry box that now holds sterile disposable masks with a big welcome card.

Once we start having guests over, we can prepare a tray for them to put their essentials in.

Taking precaution should be a habit for all of us to avoid future pandemics. Let’s look at the bright side and adjust our lives the best way we can, to make home life a happy, welcome and stylish experience.
