EL NIDO, LIO RESORTS IMPLEMENT 9-STEP GUEST CARE JOURNEY
The province of Palawan is on modified general community quarantine, while the municipality of El Nido continues to implement preventive measures vs the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Ten Knots Development Corp. (TKDC) is prioritizing the well-being of its guests, employees and community, while emphasizing its commitment the safety of everyone coming in and staying at El Nido Resorts (ENR) and Lio Estate Resorts (LER).
The enhanced care journey begins with the flight to El Nido via Airswift, the first airline to install in-seat barriers.
Once landed, guests will go through this nine-step journey:
1. Arrival at Lio airport, where safety signages are in most visible areas, seats sanitized, and personal protective equipment is worn by representatives.
2. Guests transfer via shuttle to the new Care Lounge, with a safety divider between the driver and guests.
3. Guests go through a foot bath, hand sanitation and thermal scanning. ENR guests can check-in via QR (quick response) code. LER guests’ check-in is done at their respective resorts.
4. Those staying in the islands are provided with a sanitized life jacket which they can use for the duration of their stay. Guests per boat will only be a maximum of eight.
5. All entry points are equipped with foot bath and hand sanitizers. LER guests will find their disinfected luggage at the lobby, while for ENR, these will be delivered to each guest room’s doorstep.
6. ENR and LER rooms are allowed only up to 50 percent maximum capacity. Makeup room and turn-down service are discontinued, but used linens, towels and dining utensils may be replaced.
7. Buffet offerings are reto placed with preset or a la carte meals. Safe food handling is observed.
8. Spas and main pools are temporarily closed, while gym use is by appointment only.
9. Checkout is done via email. Cashless payment options are available at the front desk.
