WHAT DRAMA ANTHOLOGY HAS TAUGHT CHARO
Charo Santos-Concio says reading the letters for the stories featured in “Maalaala Mo Kaya,” the longest-running drama anthology she hosts, has helped her “develop a sense of empathy and compassion for others.”
She adds, “You will cease being self-centered. You’ll realize that not everything is about you … that there’s a bigger world out there. You become more understanding of other people’s plight. When you learn about the circumstances in their lives, you don’t make any judgment. That’s what ‘MMK’ has taught me.”
