DAIICHI’S WORLD PLAZA BAGS 2ND PROPERTY AWARD
World Plaza, a premium office building developed by Daiichi Properties, received its second award as it bagged the gold in the Outstanding Developer for the Office Category in this year’s FIABCI-Philippines Property & Real Estate Awards.
The FIABCI plum came on at the heels of Daiichi Properties’ Five-Star Best Developer Website Philippines award that the company received in the 2017 Asia-Pacific Property Awards held in Thailand a few months ago. It is also World Plaza’s second citation after the Best Office Development award in the 2015 Asia-Pacific Property Awards.
Worldwide federation
FIABCI (Fédération Internationale des Administrateurs de Biens et Conseils lmmobiliers) is the French acronym for The International Real Estate Feder- ation, a worldwide federation of 100 national real estate associations and an international business club of real estate professionals in 60 countries spread over four principal regions-the Americas, Asia-Pacific, Africa and Europe, and the Near East.
Based in Paris and founded in 1945, FIABCI has chapters in 48 countries enjoying an international umbrella network of around 1.5 million real estate professionals across the various real estate disciplines such as construction and development, property management, valuation and appraisal, property development and consulting, legal, insurance, architecture and urban planning.
Project excellence
The Outstanding Developer award aims to recognize excellence in completed real estate projects. The criteria for the award include architecture and design, development and construction, financial and marketing, environmental impact, and community benefits.
The awarding ceremonies for the FIABCI-Philippines Property & Real Estate Awards were held last September 19 at the Marriot Hotel in Pasay City.
On hand to receive the award for Daiichi Properties was company SVP senior vice president Charmaine Uy.
Recognition
“We are happy that Daiichi Properties’ commitment to excellence in property development is finally being recognized by experts in the field. This award just strengthens our resolve to develop more worldclass office buildings,” Uy said.
World Plaza is a 27-storey, premium-grade building located on the 5th Avenue in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
It was designed by Gensler, a global architecture firm known largely for designing some of the most iconic buildings and complexes in the world.
This Daiichi project also stands as one of the few structurally-tested buildings in the country that can stand strong earthquakes and typhoons, the company further claimed.
Daiichi Properties is one of the leaders in office space development in the Philippines, having more than 27 years of experience in commercial and residential development.
The company has so far acquired or developed a total of 250 hectares of industrial land and boasts a total of 228,000 sqm of Grade-A office space built or under construction.
