CASA MARCOS IS NOW BAGUIO CRAFT BREWERY’S MANILA HOME

-

Since 1945, Casa Marcos has been known to serve authentic Spanish fare for the discerning Manila audience. Now, the seasoned restaurant turns over a new leaf as it houses fresh brews from Baguio Craft Brewery.

Baguio Craft Brewery is one of Baguio’s hippest spots, as it managed to succeed in elevating the Philippine beerdrinking scene by offering specially brewed craft beers concocted with passion and craftsmanship. Since its inception, any Baguio trip has been incomplete without a stop at the brewery.

Now, the Manila crowd gets their own dose of Baguio Craft Brewery sans the long trek up north. Casa Marcos welcomes Baguio Craft Brewery to offer distinct tapas and craft beer pairings that only seek to enhance the Casa Marcos menu people know and love. Take Casa Marcos’ treasured Almejas: clams topped with cheesy and garlic bits sure to go well with Hop Attack, a brew that produces an intense hop aroma alternated with hints of clean and malty sweetness. Lengua Salpicao, another Casa Marcos’ signature dish, pairs well with Pugaw, as its citrusy and pine-based notes add layers of flavor to the ox tongue dish, cooked with savory garlic and topped with buttoned mushrooms, onions and green and red peppers—one’s beer experience has never tasted this good.

Christopher Ordas, owner of Baguio Craft Brewery came up with 10 recommended beer pairings to Casa Marcos’ delectably timeless dishes. Now, all these unique and mouthwatering pairings are conveniently available at Casa Marcos’ Timog branch.
