DEL ROSARIO DROPS TO SHARE OF 7TH

Pauline del Rosario limped with a 74 and dropped from joint lead to a share of seventh in the third round of the Ladies European Tour’s Thailand Championship at the Phoenix Golf and Country Club’s Mountain Ocean course in Pattaya late Friday.

Local ace Kanyalak Preedasuttijit pounced on Del Rosario and erstwhile joint leader Swede Lynn Carlsson’s fumbling start, unleashing a backside as- sault of 30 to fire a 66 and seize control at 12-under 204.

Carlsson, who had a 65 to tie Del Rosario, slipped to joint third with with a 72 for 209, four strokes off the lead.

Over at the Symetra Tour, Dottie Ardina shot a two-under 70 but could only move to joint 21st in the second round of the Island Resort Championship paced by Taiwanese SsuChia Cheng in Michigan Saturday.
