K-to-12 delivers on its promise: Reduced college years at FAITH Colleges

-

AFTER two years since K-to-12 was implemented by the Department of Education (DepEd), universities and colleges throughout the country will be welcoming back freshmen.

The academic community is quite excited to open school year 2018-2019 primarily because they will be accepting the first batch of senior high school graduates.

“We at FAITH Colleges are eagerly looking forward to August when first year college students would once again be populating the campus,” said FAITH Colleges executive vice president Juan P. Lozano.

“True to the objectives of DepEd’s K-to-12 program, our graduates are more prepared for life ahead—whether they decide to immediately go to work, become entrepreneurs, or continue on to college,” Lozano said.

“For all of the young people who would decide to pursue college, we would like to announce that FAITH Colleges is now offering accelerated college programs. This means a K-to-12 graduate can now finish college in as short as three years, depending on the course of their choice,” added Lozano.

For school year 2018-2019, FAITH Colleges guarantees complete college degree programs in just three years, without any separate bridging program. This is made possible by a thoroughly enhanced curriculum that is approved by the Commission on Higher Education. This is combined with a robust lineup of faculty with solid foundation in both teaching and actual industry practice.
