The new heroes in the cruelty-free hair care collection are the Strawberry Clearly Glossing Shampoo and Conditioner, the first ever 100-percent vegan hair care routine from The Body Shop, and the 100percent vegan Ginger Scalp Care Conditioner to accompany the best-selling Ginger Anti-Dandruff Shampoo.
The Ginger Anti-Dandruff Shampoo and Ginger Scalp Care Conditioner are enriched with ginger essential oil from Sri Lanka, birch bark and white willow extracts.
The Strawberry Clearly Glossing Shampoo and Conditioner duo is enriched with juice from Italian strawberries and organic aloe vera to make dull hair feel softer and look shinier.
The aloe vera is grown on organically certified land close to three precious rainforest biosphere reserves in Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula.
Trade from The Body Shop has provided indigenous female farmers living on the edge of the rainforests with a sustainable income. This also helps protect forest lands by reducing the need to chop down trees and compromise local resources.
