TATLER TIPS

The Peking duck is a gorgeous golden brown and dusted with a slightly sweet toasted coconut. Its meat is succulent and drizzled with a rich, beautiful sauce that is packed with spices. The dish is served with nasi ulam, a fragrant, slightly sweet, Malaysian herb rice salad. The "fish" is their take on the popular nasi lemak, a Malay fragrant rice dish cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaf. This comes with a beautiful piece of sea bass otah, which is blackened on the outside, giving it a charred taste to balance the fish paste sauce that is blended with spices and herbs.
