Lo­tus Court is all about re­fine­ment—the el­e­gant in­te­ri­ors and flavour­ful Can­tonese dishes make it one of Davao’s favourite din­ing spots.


Aside from the usual Can­tonese dishes, Lo­tus Court has re-in­vented some clas­sics, which should not be missed: The Yin and Yang fish comes to­gether in al­most per­fect har­mony. Fresh lapu-lapu is fried to a crisp; where one half is coated with a sub­tle lemon-honey sauce and the other half with a strong tangy flavour. The braised mush­room and tofu dish is sim­ply de­li­cious. The del­i­cate tex­ture of silky enoki mush­rooms and creamy home-made tofu could con­vert even non-veg­e­tar­i­ans to the green side. One bite of the sticky, sweet sesame buchi— burst­ing with dark choco­late—is the ul­ti­mate end­ing.
