The des­ti­na­tion for haute Chi­nese cui­sine. The hushed, sump­tu­ous set­ting gives one a sense of pri­vacy, and serves as the per­fect back­drop for a mem­o­rable din­ing ex­pe­ri­ence.


The ver­dict is in on the roasted U.S. farm Pek­ing duck, a mea­sure of the chef's cook­ing prow­ess—ex­cel­lent! The meat was ten­der, sea­soned del­i­cately to bring out the meat's nat­u­ral flavour; and the skin was golden with a light crunch. Tellingly, the pan­cake was firm to hold its de­lec­ta­ble con­tents, but thin enough not to over­whelm. Make room for dessert, the sen­sa­tional co­conut pra­lines with white cho­co­late, crispy pan­cakes filled with lo­tus paste and green tea, and the oven-baked crispy lo­tus wafers, nearly stole the show.
