At 26, fashion and accessories designer Mia Arcenas has already made a name for herself

-

Mia Arcenas graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Apparel Manufacturing Management from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles, California. She has always been inclined towards fashion, influenced by her mother who is also in the business, designing and manufacturing handbags and fashion accessories for international brands. Only 26, Arcenas is already making great strides. This talented and beautiful fashion and accessories designer from Cebu is definitely keeping herself busy and has already exhibited at two exclusive international shows: Première Classe and Maison & Objet in September 2016 in Paris. She currently has two ateliers, one in Cebu and another in Manila, and has new collaborations on the drawing board. There are big plans to expand her brand both locally and internationally. Arcenas often collaborates with charities like MovEd Foundation by donating proceeds of her sales to contribute to the betterment of the country. Aside from the world of fashion and retail, she espouses a healthy lifestyle and loves horseback riding and yoga. She will soon be married to Jewelmer’s Jacques Christophe Branellec. From beauty queen to designer, Arcenas has a future chock-full of opportunities to look forward to.
