Award-winning British band Coldplay lands in Manila for a much-awaited concert

British rock band Coldplay conquers Manila with a sold-out A Head Full of Dreams concert this month. As a way of promoting their album with the same title, Manila is the band’s second stop following a successful two-day concert in Singapore. This will be Coldplay’s first-ever performance in the country since its formation in 1996.

Composed of lead vocalist and keyboardist Chris Martin, lead guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, and drummer and backing vocalist Will Champion, the band has sold 80 million records sold worldwide and several nominations and wins from various outfits including the Grammy Awards, Brit Awards, and MTV Video Music Awards. Their chart-topping singles include “Viva La Vida,” “Speed of Sound,” “A Sky Full of Stars,” “Adventure of a Lifetime,” and “Paradise.”
