A few days before their 62nd wedding anniversary, Mely Hechanova asked her loving husband, Paing, “How did we meet, again?” And Paing used this moment as an opportunity to retell their beautiful love story when he spoke during the celebration held at their beautiful residence. He also mentioned with pride his four children—Renna, Raissa, Rafael Jnr, and Rhianna—and how each one has become an achiever. “We have so much to thank you for, Lord,” he said with a voice overflowing with love for his family. The celebration, attended by 120 family and friends, fittingly started with a Mass before the magnificent dinner prepared by Margarita Forés and entertainment by the Big Big Show (Bituin Escalante, Frenchy Dy, and Radha). A profusion of white flowers cascading from the ceiling and springing up in tall vases, as well as hedges and two tall trees reaching up to the high ceiling turned this indoor venue into an outdoor romantic backdrop for a life of love.
